Refund & Cancellation Policy
Our policies regarding fee refunds and course cancellations
1. Fee Refund Policy
At ACIT, we understand that circumstances may arise that require students to withdraw from a course. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent:
- Full Refund (100%): If a student withdraws before the commencement of classes or within 3 days of enrollment, whichever is earlier, a full refund will be provided minus an administrative fee of ₹1,000.
- Partial Refund (75%): If a student withdraws within the first week of classes, 75% of the tuition fee will be refunded.
- Partial Refund (50%): If a student withdraws within the second week of classes, 50% of the tuition fee will be refunded.
- No Refund: No refund will be provided if a student withdraws after two weeks of classes.
2. Course Cancellation
In the rare event that ACIT needs to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances:
- Full Refund: If ACIT cancels a course before its commencement, a full refund will be provided to all enrolled students.
- Prorated Refund: If ACIT cancels a course after its commencement, students will receive a prorated refund based on the number of classes conducted.
- Alternative Options: Whenever possible, ACIT will offer alternative course options or rescheduling before considering cancellation.
3. Refund Process
To request a refund, students must:
- Submit a written refund request to the administration office
- Provide necessary details including enrollment number, course details, and reason for withdrawal
- Return any study materials provided by ACIT
- Allow up to 14 working days for the refund to be processed
Refunds will be processed through the same mode of payment used for the initial transaction unless otherwise specified.
4. Special Circumstances
ACIT recognizes that exceptional circumstances may arise that are beyond a student's control:
- Medical Emergencies: In case of serious illness or medical emergencies (with proper documentation), special consideration for refunds may be given even after the standard refund period.
- Relocation: If a student needs to relocate to a different city/state due to unavoidable circumstances, ACIT may consider a partial refund on a case-by-case basis.
Each case will be reviewed individually by the administration, and decisions will be communicated to the student in writing.
Note: This refund policy is subject to change. Any modifications will be communicated to students and updated on our website. The policy in effect at the time of enrollment will apply to that enrollment.
